Job Description
This is a contract/temp, on-site Psychologist role based in Epping, VIC. The Psychologist will provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to NDIS participants, including individual counselling, behavioral support, and skills-building to enhance independence and quality of life. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting psychological assessments, developing and implementing treatment and behavior support plans, documenting progress, and maintaining accurate clinical records in line with regulatory standards. The role involves collaborating with participants, families, carers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver person-centred, culturally responsive care, and contributing to service improvement initiatives.

Requirements
- Strong foundation in Psychology, including theoretical knowledge and applied practice.
- Proficiency in Mental Health and Counseling, with experience delivering evidence-based therapies.
- Skills in Psychological Assessment, including selection, administration, interpretation, and reporting.
- Understanding of Medicine as it relates to mental health, psychopharmacology, and interdisciplinary care.
- Strong foundation in Psychology, including theoretical knowledge and applied practice.
- Proficiency in Mental Health and Counseling, with experience delivering evidence-based therapies.
- Skills in Psychological Assessment, including selection, administration, interpretation, and reporting.
- Understanding of Medicine as it relates to mental health, psychopharmacology, and interdisciplinary care.
Certifications
- Relevant tertiary qualification in Psychology and eligibility for registration with AHPRA (provisional or full).
- Experience working within the NDIS or disability sector and familiarity with person-centred, trauma-informed practice.
- Excellent communication, documentation, and case management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
- Commitment to cultural safety, ethical practice, continuous professional development, and reflective supervision.
- Current Working With Children Check, National Police Check, and right to work in Australia.
