Sign up nowBig NDIS news overnight: the reform bill passed the Senate, but it's not law yet — it still has to clear the lower house.
If you or someone you care for needs 24-hour continuous supports, there's now an escalation pathway to protect that funding, plus the ability to request changes to specific parts of a plan like daily living assistance.
What's still unclear is how new eligibility assessments will work — that detail hasn't been released yet, even though it's due before January 2028.
We know this is a lot, and we know a lot of the disability community pushed back hard on this bill during the Senate inquiry. We're not going to sugarcoat that. If you want to know what any of this means for your plan specifically, your support coordinator or the NDIA are your best first call — and we'll keep this space updated as real detail lands, not speculation.

⚠️ A scam pattern we want you to know about
A few support coordinators in our community have let us know their email accounts were taken over for a short window this week — long enough for scam messages to go out to their contacts, appearing to come from their real, everyday inbox. The giveaway subject line we've seen: something like "a secure document has been shared with you."
Because the email genuinely comes from someone's real account, it's easy to miss. A few things worth building into habit:
- Treat any unexpected "view this document" or "file shared with you" email with a pinch of suspicion, even when it's from a name you recognise.
- Skip the link, skip the attachment, and don't put your login details into whatever page it opens.
- Pick up the phone or send a separate message to the person directly if you want to check it's really them — don't use any contact details in the email itself.
- Bin it once you're confident it's not legitimate.
Think your own account might have been caught out? Reset your email password straight away, loop in whoever manages your IT, and give your regular contacts a heads-up that messages from you might not be safe to open for a little while.
These things happen to well-run businesses all the time — it's not about blame, just about looking out for each other. If you spot the same pattern, tell us about it so we can keep the community in the loop. 💛

Hi everyone, we're Nura Health and we're new to the MySolas community.
We're a mobile pathology service in Brisbane. In plain terms, we send a qualified collector to wherever the participant is, their home, their aged care facility, their workplace, to take blood and other pathology samples. No trip to a collection centre. No sitting in a waiting room.
We started Nura because getting to a pathology clinic is genuinely hard for a lot of people. A single blood test can mean booking transport and using up support worker hours just to get there and back, and that adds up fast.
When we come to you, that trip disappears. The transport and support hours a clinic visit would have used stay free for the things that matter more.
If you support a participant who needs regular bloods, or who finds clinic visits difficult, we'd love to help. Happy to answer anything right here.
It's great seeing the social feature of My Solas finally released. Can't wait to see where this leads!
Woohooo! Looking forward to seeing new connections being made within our community.
