Community Participation and Self-Care Activities
by Rightway Care
At Rightway Care, we believe that every individual deserves the opportunity to live a fulfilling and empowered life. Our programs are designed to support participants in becoming active members of their communities while enhancing their personal independence through structured self-care routines.
đ Community Participation
We actively support individuals to engage with their community in meaningful and enjoyable ways. Our goal is to help build confidence, promote social interaction, and develop valuable life skills.
Activities may include:
- Attending local events and festivals
- Visiting parks, museums, and community centers
- Volunteering opportunities
- Group outings (e.g., shopping, movies, cafes)
- Attending social and skill-building workshops
- Participating in community sports or recreational clubs
Our support workers tailor these activities to match individual interests and goals, ensuring each participant feels connected and included.
đ§ Self-Care Activities
We empower participants to develop and maintain essential self-care routines that promote health, well-being, and independence. Support is provided with empathy, encouragement, and respect for personal choice.
Self-care support can include:
- Personal hygiene routines (bathing, grooming, oral care)
- Dressing and personal presentation
- Meal preparation and healthy eating habits
- Medication management
- Daily routines and time management
- Fitness and wellness planning
Through one-on-one or small-group support, participants gain the confidence and skills needed to manage their day-to-day lives effectively.
đ¤ Our Approach
Rightway Care offers a person-centered, strength-based approach tailored to each participantâs unique goals and abilities. Whether you're aiming to build friendships, gain independence, or simply try something new, our caring team is here to support you every step of the way.
