Korama Care

Korama Care is a trusted NDIS provider that has been formed out of a deep passion for ensuring that people with disabilities receive the care and support they deserve. We provide in-home support, community access and short term accommodation/respite services to participants with psychosocial, physical, developmental and sensory disabilities. Our passion for disability support started almost 20 years ago when we began caring for a family member with very high support needs. Through this experience, we learned the importance of patience, empathy and providing care that is respectful of an individual's needs and rights. This inspired us to start our own company that provides the type of care we would want for our own family member.

We specialise in providing in-home support and community access services to participants with physical, psychosocial, developmental, and sensory disabilities. Our team operates in the Greater Brisbane, Ipswich, Gold Coast, Moreton Bay, and Logan areas. We also provide short term accommodation/respite services in Brisbane, Ipswich, and the Gold and Sunshine Coasts. We take pride in having robust management, compliance and reporting processes in place and working with quality staff. Our staff are well-trained and experienced in supporting a wide range of participants.

We also maintain a database of activities for participants across these areas. During the onboarding process, we assess each participant's needs and interests to arrange trial activities if no preferences have been specified. We’ve successfully facilitated participant involvement in sports, arts and crafts, cooking, water sports, local excursions, and even memberships with programs in the participant's area of interest.
